I'd like to express my apologies for no longer updating this site. I had been so swamped with several things I have to do. True enough, my mind is undergoing the process of regelation XD I still browse the Internet and never fail to update my social networking sites. If I don't update this site that much, you can check my Plurk, Twitter and Face Book accounts. My Friendster account? Forget it. I stopped using that site since they altered the layout and the interface of the site. I'll be posting at least two updates this morning. Yes, it's 1:41 in the morning and I'm here at an Internet cafe while my friends are playing Defense of The Ancients or DoTA.
So what's new?
Last January, I've started the last term of my fourth year in College. I was supposed to graduate this May but I know, it's a dismay that I will not grace for the last time the halls of the school's auditorium, take my final bow and move on to the next level of life XD
Well, I think I love staying in school for one more year. The good news is I'll be undergoing my Internship this coming June :) By January next year, I'll be starting my final term (hopefully; I think I still have 6 subjects left) and hope to graduate by May 2012.
BTW, I celebrated New Year yet again in Calamba, Laguna. I also received a netbook from my Uncle Ferdie who's currently in Dubai. Thanks Uncle!
Another thing, I've officially started carrying out the duties of my function as Worship Leader at SBC-Makati last January. (I've been leading the worship in our Youth Services but not the AM/PM Services)
We also started JIVE's Youth Services at General Pio Del Pilar National High School every Saturdays on the first week of January.
For February, I had a reunion with my favorite aunts and relatives to celebrate the 1st year death anniversary of my grandmother, Avelina Malixi Yumang. I think I wrote a tribute for her in this site, didn't I? We also organized JIVE Youth's 3rd Valentine's Banquet last February.
Sadly, the struggle I had since October 2010 has escalated and I've relapsed to it again. I have to step down from visible ministries as a result thereof. I'm still involved in planning of church projects though. I didn't undergo disciplinary action. I just have to step down from ministries that involve being the visible leader.
As a result, I have to stop leading the worship in all our church services. I considered this my sabbatical.
I know it is hard but with God's grace, I can overcome this. I'm still in the process of dealing with
it. I've been undergoing counselling sessions with our pastor and I hope to be back soon.
For the month of March, we've visited two plants (factories) in Laguna as part of our Operations Management class. I've also started handling the program flow of our Youth Services.
Our pastor also told me that I may resume my function as Worship Leader any time soon. I told him that I'm gonna finish the Discipleship Program first. I'm now at Lesson No. 6 (out of 10). I hope to finish on the second or third week of April just in time for camp.
On a side note, Camp Kabataan's Summer Youth Camp 2011 is fast approaching. SYC 2011's theme is RPG Metanoia: Change To Win and will be held on April 26-29, 2011 at the Mt. Peniel Campsite, O'Donnell, Capas, Tarlac. Camp fee is PhP450.
It's past 2 AM already and I may not be able to post another one. I'll try later this afternoon. Have a great day folks!
