The Game Master's 2011 Year-End Post

Advanced Happy New Year everyone!

To everyone who made the my 2011 amazing, I don't know how to begin to express my gratitude. I know "Thank you so much" isn't enough. Thank you all so much x 10 raised to infinity. I look forward to spending the next years with you.

To those whom I've wronged intentionally, consciously, unconcsiously or even subconsciously, my sincerest apologies. I admit I was wrong. I hope I'd be able to make it up to you in the following year.

To those who hate me and want to drag and drown me down into their moral cesspools, [now that's just pathetic; pointless even, don't you think? oh, and I want to see you try XD], I'm glad I can make your lives miserable just by existing XD Just kidding. I hope we can come to terms with just what it is with you and settle it in a diplomatic and ethical ways :D

To those we've lost this year, we'll forever miss you. Until that time comes...

To everyone whom I've shared the year 2011 with, I say, "Kudos!". We've made it through this year (that is unless of course, you get hit by 'Goodbye Philippines', 'Goodby Universe', 'Pacquiao' or some other ridiculously named firecracker.

Obrigado muito, muito. Merci beacoup tout le monde. Grazie mille.

All the best for us this coming 2012. All the glory, honor and praise to God for the past and coming years! :D

IMAX 3D Experience at the Renewed SM Southmall

See more…hear more… feel more… at the newest IMAX SM Southmall – the only IMAX Theatre in the South Metro Manila.

Its calibrated digital surround sound & crystal clear images made it the ultimate & most immersive cinematic movie experience! Why? It feels like you’re part of the movie, and not just watching it. It was almost like you’re swimming in under the water or you’re really flying over the canyon! IMAX Theatre is really bringing back the real theater experience, better quality & getting your money’s worth.

SM Southmall & IMAX Theatre presented a special advanced screening of Adventures of Tintin to let customers experience the excellent movie quality in IMAX. Adventures of Tintin is directed by Oscar winning director Steven Spielberg & Oscar winning producer Peter Jackson: an epic, globe-hopping quest with one-of-a-kind mix of action, humor & scintillating tale spin in a 3D motion picture event.

The premier of The Adventures of Tintin is just one of the many blockbuster movies that SM Southmall had lined up for the South Metro Manila residents.

SM Southmall is approaching the final leg of its renovation, with its continuous effort to give South Metro residents the best shopping and leisure experience. Aside from the new IMAX theatre & newly renovated cinemas, SM Southmall also upgraded the Ice Skating Rink and your complete gadget source, Cyberzone at the 3rd level. Mall-goers can enjoy their favourite local stores along with new and exciting global brands. Also in keeping with the worldwide trend, the Foodstreet – an alfresco dining area will be opened soon. This is a dining strip with over 20 concepts of specialty & casual dining restaurants, and resto bars with outside seating surrounded by lush greenery.

The mall has also lined up a series of events this December: Santa Claus Meet & Greet and Christmas Caroling Cheers with the country’s top chorales and ensembles every weekend, amazing fireworks show on December 25 & 30, and other fun-filled events for the whole family.

So to all South Metro residents, for a new shopping and leisure experience, come & visit the renewed SM Southmall today!

Bits and Bytes

I noticed that my last post was only the fifth this year. I can't help but apologize again. I miss the time when I can just "clack" on my keyboard (so 90s XD) and pour out my thoughts. I'm gonna have to update this site sooner or later, so why later, right? XD Here we go again.

BTW, I've been undergoing my internship at a global corporation since June this year. That's one of the reasons why this site hasn't been updated.

I guess, I have a lot on my plate. Another note, kindly excuse if my recent posts on this blog have been tributes to my relatives or friends who passed away. This is the least I can do for them.

My tumblr account is still under construction and IN SYNC here on blogspot, along with Knowledge Challenge is undergoing maintenance.

I'll be launching a website soon, at weebly. This will be about worship and worship leading. Please watch out for that.

Also, in the future, I will no longer be posting (if by request, I might) really long posts. Oh, I can hear you navigating to other sites XD

Yeah, this site is my "rant" site, but I'll be striving to give you my readers (how few or MANY you may be) only the best posts. Not that my posts are sub-standard in quality; I just want to, at the least, here, be excellent.

After all, Excellence is a lifestyle, right?

TTFT,
GM Rege :D

Yet another loss... This is a tribute to an amazing woman whom, despite her medical condition, persisted and managed to live a normal life. In pace requiscat...

R3: Rege's Return on Regelation

I'd like to express my apologies for no longer updating this site. I had been so swamped with several things I have to do. True enough, my mind is undergoing the process of regelation XD I still browse the Internet and never fail to update my social networking sites. If I don't update this site that much, you can check my Plurk, Twitter and Face Book accounts. My Friendster account? Forget it. I stopped using that site since they altered the layout and the interface of the site. I'll be posting at least two updates this morning. Yes, it's 1:41 in the morning and I'm here at an Internet cafe while my friends are playing Defense of The Ancients or DoTA.

So what's new?

Last January, I've started the last term of my fourth year in College. I was supposed to graduate this May but I know, it's a dismay that I will not grace for the last time the halls of the school's auditorium, take my final bow and move on to the next level of life XD

Well, I think I love staying in school for one more year. The good news is I'll be undergoing my Internship this coming June :) By January next year, I'll be starting my final term (hopefully; I think I still have 6 subjects left) and hope to graduate by May 2012.

BTW, I celebrated New Year yet again in Calamba, Laguna. I also received a netbook from my Uncle Ferdie who's currently in Dubai. Thanks Uncle!

Another thing, I've officially started carrying out the duties of my function as Worship Leader at SBC-Makati last January. (I've been leading the worship in our Youth Services but not the AM/PM Services)

We also started JIVE's Youth Services at General Pio Del Pilar National High School every Saturdays on the first week of January.

For February, I had a reunion with my favorite aunts and relatives to celebrate the 1st year death anniversary of my grandmother, Avelina Malixi Yumang. I think I wrote a tribute for her in this site, didn't I? We also organized JIVE Youth's 3rd Valentine's Banquet last February.

Sadly, the struggle I had since October 2010 has escalated and I've relapsed to it again. I have to step down from visible ministries as a result thereof. I'm still involved in planning of church projects though. I didn't undergo disciplinary action. I just have to step down from ministries that involve being the visible leader.

As a result, I have to stop leading the worship in all our church services. I considered this my sabbatical.

I know it is hard but with God's grace, I can overcome this. I'm still in the process of dealing with
it. I've been undergoing counselling sessions with our pastor and I hope to be back soon.

For the month of March, we've visited two plants (factories) in Laguna as part of our Operations Management class. I've also started handling the program flow of our Youth Services.

Our pastor also told me that I may resume my function as Worship Leader any time soon. I told him that I'm gonna finish the Discipleship Program first. I'm now at Lesson No. 6 (out of 10). I hope to finish on the second or third week of April just in time for camp.

On a side note, Camp Kabataan's Summer Youth Camp 2011 is fast approaching. SYC 2011's theme is RPG Metanoia: Change To Win and will be held on April 26-29, 2011 at the Mt. Peniel Campsite, O'Donnell, Capas, Tarlac. Camp fee is PhP450.

It's past 2 AM already and I may not be able to post another one. I'll try later this afternoon. Have a great day folks!
