Salut! Have you ever experienced being so angry, you thought of having an outlet for it? Here's mine:
Last week, my father decided to have the house renovated for the nth time. The house I'm currently living in is our ancestral house and is about 60 years old. Last Monday, he hired a contractor and two laborers (Why such a small number of laborers, I don't know why). As I prepared to go to school, the laborers started to work. When I got home by 2 that afternoon, all they finished is a layer of hollow blocks cemented together, without the steel bracing yet. I was infuriated because from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, that's 6 hours they've been in the house, lunchbreak deducted, they should have by at that time, finished the work of putting up a six by seven foot wall! At 5 PM, Daddy fired the laborers and the contractor.
It is Friday today and every time I look at that less-than-a-foot-wall, I get irritated. The work is not yet done and the appliances, pieces of furniture and stuff that we have in the part of the house that is being renovated, is all over the place! The living room and the guest room that we have is filled with bags of sand and cement. The dining room can no longer be a place where people gather, sit down and eat happily. The dining room is now a place where adults and the elderly wonder whether it is a part of a 5o-year old abandoned house, a haunted house for Halloween, or a yard sale! What on earth is this?! I believe that the bathroom is the only place in our house that is currently presentable.
So, the main point of this ""homily"": Earlier this afternoon, my Daddy scolded me as to how the house looked. He accused me of wrecking and causing chaos and entropy to set in! In the first place, was it I who hired those incompetent laborers? And was it I who decided on venturing into the renovation thingy that is quite uncertain with the results? And was it I who decided where to place the pieces of furniture, et cetera all over the place????? Clearly, my father is being petulant! Don't blame your mistake on me, for goodness' sake!

I played cards (no money involved) with my cousins, niece and neighbor to release my anger. Yes, when I get so irritated and angry, I replace it with a much useful emotion---INDIGNATION.
Have a great night everyone!
