Philippine Azkals vs Malaysian Tigers International Friendly Match

Last week, we (JIVE Youth Leaders) were invited by our pastor and mentor Jeff Aspacio to watch the International Friendly Match of the Philippine Azkals versus the Malaysian Tigers which will be held today, February 29, at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium.

This marks the second time in 21 years that the Malaysian Football team, Harimau Malaya or the Malaysian Tigers will play at the Rizal Memorial Stadium after the Philippines beat them in a score of 1-0 last 1991 SEA Games.

This also marks the first time that I'll be watching an international sports tournament, live. Pastor Jeff, specifically chose this event for JIVE Youth Leaders to do something fun together. This is also a very good opportunity for us to have fellowship. BTW, he bought us tickets! Yay for free tickets! :D

I may not play football because my physique is not athletic; I may not be a "real" sports fan; but this is one experience I wouldn't miss :D Thanks to Pastor Jeff for providing us, leaders, a venue for camaraderie.

Fevrier 2012

Would you look at that? Were done with first month and off to the second! We're now on Day 33 of 2012! Woohoo!

I'm still single so I don't have to worry and don't have to get stressed about all the Valentine's hullabaloo everyone is bothered with. Anyway, here's a list of things I am looking forward to this month of February:

Mid-Term Examinations. Our Mid-Terms are coming to haunt us this third week of the month. I'm taking my last 7 subjects this term and I hope I pass them all so I'll be able to graduate :D

iLove: JIVE Youth's February Message Series. We won't be having a Valentine's banquet this year, but I'm excited for the young people that will hear our messages about love this month.

Panagbenga Festival in Baguio City. Ok. I've been so "committed" XD to finishing my studies that, hopefully, this is the first time I'll be going to Baguio City to witness the wonderful flower float parades. It's on the last Saturday and Sunday of the month so if my schedule (and wallet XD) permits, I'll be able to go.

Philippine Hot Air Ballooon Festival. I'm supposed to go with an organization I've been with, but my sister asked who wants to come. Hopefully, she shoulders my transportation. This, I believe happens next week, Saturday, in Clark, Zambales.

February 29. Nothing in particular. I just miss February 29th. It comes once every four years, mind you.

Lots of surprises, cruel twists, challenges and more this month.
