Rant Of A Graduating College Student I

Dear (insert professor's name here),

Kindly do not allow my previous record in your class ages ago to cloud your judgment, intellectual integrity and professional ethics.

I am not the same person I was while I was in your class three years ago. Also, kindly be objective in giving your students their marks. Do not allow your prejudice to ruin other people's lives.

Lastly, I can only take this much condescension from you. If you must ask, you were a candidate for a Doctorate degree three years ago, and here's news for you: you're still a Doctorate degree candidate.

If you don't know what the word "understand" means, I don't know which part of the universe you're from.

Kindly conduct yourself in a professional manner befitting a faculty member of one of the Philippines' most respected educational institution.

I'll see you around.

Your student,

Regenald :D

BUCKET LIST: JIVE Youth's January 2012 Message Series

JIVE Youth, our Youth organization will be having it's first Youth Service for 2012 this coming Sunday, January 8 at 3:30 PM.

During our November 2011 Leaders' Meeting, it has been agreed that the theme for January 2012 would be "Bucket List". A 'bucket list' is a collection of things one wants to do or accomplish before he/she dies. Simply put, a bucket list is a list you have before kicking the bucket (dying).

We will also be talking about the five purposes of JIVE Youth, 'Reach' 'Enlist', 'Equip', 'Employ', and 'Exalt'. The five purposes are incorporated in the message topics throughout the series.

For our first week, we will be talking about 'Count Me In'. Our goal is to teach the Youth how important it is to be a part of God's family. That is 'Enlist' on our Purpose Statement.

We've prepared a lot of exciting surprises for the attending Youth.

Great music, engaging discussions, inspiring message, fun activities, oh, and did I mention the food? I'm sure you will enjoy our company! :D

We hope to reach more young people, especially students this year and we pray to God that He will help us grow, not just in numbers and character, but spiritually as well.

If you know young people (whether relatives or friends), I encourage you to invite them to our weekly Youth Services at JIVE Youth Center, 3/F Kalayaan Market Bldg., Guadalupe Nuevo, Makati City.

See you there! :D

366 Days...

Saludos readers! I've noticed that I only had 9 posts last year, which is about an 83% decrease of my posts in 2010. So, here's my first post in 2012.

My mentor, Pastor Jeff, a professional blogger suggested that I draft my posts and save them as Word documents and post them in bulk whenever I get online. I plan on doing just that but I don't seem to do it. You get my drift? I no longer have an Internet connection in my home so I don't get to go online more often. It had always been my goal to blog at least 30 posts in a month, but I just can't achieve it. What's with me?

I suppose I need to get everything set before moving on. There are 363 days left for 2012. I hope I'd be able to accomplish a lot this year.

Haven't written my goals down. That might be my next post. Perhaps.

This year's a leap year. So, one more day, not to waste, but to be more productive.

All the best for us this 2012. A blessed new year to us all! :D
